Dreams which have come true thanks to Dreamz4U vary from taking a child to see their hero live on stage or doing something they have always wanted to do. A dream is limited only by a child’s imagination, and no matter what the dream is, Dreamz4u intend to make it come true!

SMALLPRINT

I'm Abi, I've just taken over Smallprint Edinburgh and I'm pleased to say the Edinburgh Baby & Child Fair will be one of my first events, so come along and meet me and see my work.

I've been running Smallprint in Fife, Perth & Kinross for the past year so rest assured Smallprint is in safe hands. I'm really looking forward to working in Edinburgh and creating some beautiful pieces of jewellery for you to treasure.

Smallprint make fine silver jewellery featuring your child's finger print, hand or footprint; each one personally engraved. Everything from pendants to cuff links, charms to keyrings all polished to a beautiful finish. I can even turn that masterpiece on the fridge into a keepsake for ever. I don't use moulds or casts, so your chosen piece has been touched by someone you love and I make everything myself, from start to finish, in my studio at home. I'll have my full display at the fair for you to choose from and I'll be taking prints too, so make sure the little one's have their fingers at the ready so I can start to work on your individual piece of jewellery straight away!

THE SLEEP LADY

Linda offers a bespoke service to families all over the world, working one-to-one with families either in their own homes or over the telephone and internet.

Every family is an individual with a child who has its own little character, therefore each sleep programme that she designs is made up for a family and its needs, routines and habits.

She helps concerned parents with all aspects of parenting: new baby routines, faddy eaters, toilet training, temper tantrums, weaning and shyness. Most of her work with families starts with a sleep issue.
Linda is offering FREE consultations at the fair.

I have to add in that having had a consultation with Linda myself many years ago for my non sleeping daughter her advice was worth its weight in gold!

BLOCKART

KIRSTY PALMER and www.Blockart.co.uk

Children’s nursery art business, Blockart (www.blockart.co.uk) was launched last summer by Kirsty Palmer, of Eskbank, Midlothian.
Kirsty has experience working in design and management but stopped working when her two small sons arrived.

I couldn’t find any non-brand artworks for my son’s rooms which did not cost a fortune, so I designed my own starting with safari animals.   Friends started putting orders in and I decided to set up my own small business from home.

I make sturdy artworks that can be customised for individual clients featuring bespoke designs, names or specific room colours.  Each piece is mounted on a beautifully finished block which sits out from the wall, meaning no framing is required.

I work from my studio set up in the garden shed.  No design is too big or small for me - I love creating childrens and babies art, and it is a pleasure to be involved in a young persons life.  Some of the art, for example the 'Baby Birth Prints' are not just a unique way to celebrate the arrival of a baby, but are also a keepsake which can be treasured for years to come.

I look forward to seeing you all at the Edinburgh Baby and Child Fair!

WATERBABIES

Swimming is great for all aspects of your baby’s physical, mental and emotional development, making them fitter, stronger and more alert. Just as important, it’s a really sociable activity – offering the two of you the perfect opportunity to make new friends and have fun.
The Water Babies course works by teaching you and your baby key life-saving skills. Each is built on as the weeks progress and babies are able to master them from remarkably early on. As has been remarkably well demonstrated, given the number of our own tiny clients who’ve thankfully saved themselves from drowning.

Our instructors’ depth of knowledge is something of which we are justifiably proud. Their training is exceptionally rigorous, covering 150 hours practical and theoretical knowledge. So you’ll have the reassurance that your baby is beginning their swimming journey - and the process of learning itself - in the best professional hands.

Water Babies is the swimming company most recommended to parents by other parents, which is one of the reasons why we’re the world leader and have won four national awards. Recognising our passion for everything we do.

Classes are available in Edinburgh and the Lothians with terms running roughly alongside school term dates. Come and visit us at the Fair for more information. You can also call us on 0131 554 6682, send us an email to woggle@waterbabies.co.uk or check out our website www.waterbabies.co.uk

EDINBURGH HYPNOBIRTHING

HypnoBirthing® is a complete antenatal education programme. Childbirth is a natural, normal and healthy human experience. HypnoBirthing® - The Mongan Method is based on the belief that all
babies should come into the world in an atmosphere of gentility, calmness and joy.

As an experienced Midwife and qualified HypnoBirthing® instructor, I have a wealth of knowledge on all aspects of Midwifery care. My interest in HypnoBirthing® came after a friend experienced an inspirational birth using HypnoBirthing® techniques.

A HypnoBirthing® course gives mothers and their birth companions the tools to create a comfortable birth experience, using deep relaxation techniques that give women the best opportunity to give birth calmly and
naturally with minimal discomfort.

HypnoBirthing® classes can start from any stage of pregnancy, although the ideal is between 20-30 weeks. However, regardless of how many weeks you are a course can be arranged to suit your time scale and
availability.

Lindsay will be at the fair to answer all your questions.
